New product! And it's...CHEVRON!
So you may or may not know that I am *obsessed* with chevron. So, after being inspired by a recent boost in sales (meaning I've sold three THREE!!! copies of my science TEKS objectives!), I created a new product! And you guessed it! It's chevron!

Snapshot Saturday-- Exciting news!
I love this linky party by Run! Miss Nelson has the camera, well, actually I love her in general. Seriously, her blog is so positive and inspiring! love it!
This post is all about our move! So the Friday night before we moved (as in, over a week ago...) we went out with friends for dinner at one of my favorite downtown Lubbock restaurants, and then to the Piano Bar.
I really love this picture of us, but, I think that this one is a little more exciting...
That's right!! Engaged at last! OH, HAPPY DAY! After one year of great friendship and then three years of dating, we are getting MARRIED! I love this man, he is my best friend and I can't wait to plan a wedding while teaching my first year! ;)
So back to the move:

So back to the move:
All of our belongings ready to go!
Our new townhouse. This is actually where I grew up! So strange living here as an adult. If you read my last post, you know we had a flood. Well, our house should be completely fixed by the end of the month. So right now we're just trying to keep our stuff out of the way of contractors. It's a pain, but we're practicing our lifeskill of patience.
So, my life is falling into place. I will start working on my classroom on Sunday and I will definitely be posting classroom makeover pictures!
Have a great weekend!

Hey there stranger!
Update into my currently INSANE life:
The townhouse we are moving into (in less than a week!) was left, water running, sink blocked, for a full seven days. Oh friends, I wish I was kidding. My townhouse went from needing a little TLC to needing renovation. In my mom's words, "The walls are squishy." Awesome. AWESOME! Silver lining (I'm working on improving my attitude...) we get to help my mom pick new cabinets and we get a lot of new flooring and painting that will be covered by insurance.
As if that wasn't enough stress on top of moving, I woke up the next morning to a swollen and green throat. I have strep for the first time in my life. So, I've been home sleeping and medicating the last two days. Missing out on my precious last days as the YWCA curriculum director.
What a week! Between deep sleeps I'm trying to pack a box here or there. But once I move I'll be able to post before and after pictures of my new (slightly wet) home and (hopefully dry) classroom!
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

3rd Grade Science TEKS I can statements...
I now have my first set of TEKS "I can" statements up on my TPT store. You can find them HERE.
It's really intimidating to post something, especially for sale, on TPT. But I know that you often get the biggest reward from the things that scare you the most...so bring it on. :)
Hopefully I will finish the other subjects tomorrow night!
